Craig worked for Kenyon Engineering, Inc. for 16 years under the direction of Jack Carper before obtaining his surveyor’s license in 1999. In July of 2000, along with his partner, Brad Merrell, he purchased Kenyon Engineering, Inc. and founded Merrell Johnson Companies. He has vast survey experience, first-hand knowledge of local conditions and utilities, and is familiar with standards and requirements of plans and specifications.

JAMES MERRELL
Contracts Manager
With a broad base of technical knowledge and thirty years of experience in contract management, supervision and estimating, James provides careful planning and comprehensive monitoring of work in progress. Technically proficient in the interpretation and application of code including accessibility, plumbing, mechanical, electrical and health, Mr. Merrell is able to anticipate potential problems and correctly diagnose and resolve issues, while minimizing deficiencies and delays. He has served as an Estimator, Project Manager, Superintendent, and Contract Manager on an extensive array of public works projects including fire and police stations, airport facilities, court buildings and school facilities as well as private works such as mining facilities, industrial plants and distribution centers.
